My Christmas Flower

I was given what was called a Christmas Flower this Christmas. I can't pronounce it let alone spell the real name of the flower so for now it's just the Christmas Flower lol. Anyways, this was my very first plant that was all my own and completely up to me to take care of. I was a little scared at first because I was worried that I would kill it, and I really wanted my first plant to grow and stay alive. So I planted the flower, watered it regularly, and made sure it had plenty of sun. Well the next few weeks my flower grew and grew and grew, and I was so excited! Then when it finally bloomed I was super excited! I was so proud of myself for actually not killing my first flower lol! I'm such a DORK!!! But I love my Christmas flower!

The Skating Rink

My mom invited me to go ice skating with her and the kids last weekend, so after some persuading from my brother and sister I said I would go. I wasn't really sure how good I would do on the ice, since the last time I had skated was when I was in Junior High lol. But surprisingly I didn't do too bad, I only fell twice and only one really hurt lol. My brother on the other hand broke his record and fell eight times! But he was a good sport and got right back up every time. Meanwhile my sister was laping all of us lol It was fun and I am glad I was talked into going.

The Best Guy Ever

I will be married to the best guy ever in May and I am so excited! His name is Chris Enright and he is my goofy but lovable best friend. He is 21 years old, has a passion for cars, loves his family, works hard at his job... oh, and he puts up with me lol. We met at a football game that I was performing at when I was a Sophmore in high school and he was a Senior. Chris called me the next day and we have been best friends ever since then.

Happy New Year!

I stayed home with my brother and sister for New Year's Eve, so it was just the three of us to celebrate. We made dinner, played some games and had sparkeling grape soda. Well of course my sister wanted some sweets so we made rice crispy treats to satisfy her sweet tooth lol. I told her she could scrape the left over marshmellow creme, and I caught a picture of her devouring the jar! It was funny. And my brother was just excited to show off his fun hat lol. The night turned out great and it was nice to spend some fun time with just the three of us.
