Mom's Paper Cricket
My brother Josh has a bearded dragon. I guess it's like a lizard to most ppl. His name is Charlie and he is still considered a baby I guess. He doesn't really do anything, he's not usually that entertaining lol, but my brother loves him. My mom really helps out a lot to take care of him and the other night she was helping my brother change Charlie's bedding(sand). My sister Michaela babysat the lizard while mom and Josh cleaned out the cage. It was funny cuz my sister was trying to keep track of Charlie lol. But he was being a little squirmy so we were trying think of ways to keep him occupied lol. Michaela decided that he might like to skateboard lol, but he wasn't really into it. He just wanted to be on her arm lol, it was funny watchin Charlie run up my sister's arm, she is such a tom boy lol! So after my mom was done helping my brother they had to feed Charlie(this is the worst part of having a lizard as a pet). He eats crickets...yuck. I have issues with creepy crawlers. And when someone opens the container of crickets they all jump everywhere!! I hate watching cuz when I see one jump out all I can think about is it crawlin in my bed or something...ugh. So I am always yelling and makin sure that each cricket is caught and put back in the container. So my mom opened the box and of course one jumped out and I was tellin her that she better catch it. It went behind the dresser my mom reached down behind it and grabbed she had her hand clasped and she was yelling "I got it! I got it! Relax!" She threw the cricket in the container but when we looked in we saw a little folded piece of paper where the escaped cricket should have been. I flipped and we all looked for the jumping insect, we finally found and caught it. Whew! Thank God! I wouldn't had been able to sleep all night lol. Stupid crickets.

A Night of Shopping
Tony(Chris' brother) threw a surprise birthday get together for his wife Missy. So about 20 of her friends and family were waiting at the Jpanese Steak House, Genji. She was surprised to turn around to her table of her friends and family already seated lol. So we had a fun time at dinner watching the chef entertain all of us and cook our food right in front of us! It was pretty entertaining and the food was amazing, of course I ate entirely too much lol. After dinner Bobby, Tam-e, Chris, myself, Missy, Tony, and their friends Cory and his wife Jessica all went up to the Easton Mall to play some arcade games at Gameworks. But Tam-e and I wanted to go look and walk around the mall instead. So her and I went around to different stores and besides freezing our butts off we had fun looking for stuff for her newborn neice Aleaya. There are such cute little baby clothes out these days! We found an outfit with little giraffes on a tank top with green pants that matched it and a couple ther little things. But I think our favorite was this teeny tiny newborn bikini!! Omg is was too cute!! We stopped at quite a bit of stores, I hadn't been shopping in a while so it was fun just checking out what was goin on in the shopping world lol. Tam-e got some bath and body stuff for girls at her work... she is so funny, we spent most of the night shopping and she bought stuff for other ppl lol. I don't think she bought anything for herself all night lol. She cracks me up. I had fun looking for little girls clothes.

Vroom! Vroom!

Last Friday was the Columbus Auto Show, and my mom's boyfriend is a car salesman so he got tickets for free. So my mom, her boyfriend(Scott), my brother and sister, Chris and myself all went and checked it out last Friday. One of Chris's friend Shane and his girlfriend Casey happened to be going that night also and we ended up arriving right at the same time lol. Scott actually had a couple extra tickets so he gave them to Shane and Casey. I thought that worked out pretty well lol. We got to check out some pretty sweet cars, and expensive ones!! I'm sorry I don't really know the names to all of the cars lol it's so hard to remember all of them... I dunno how Chris and Matt can remember all of the names lol! I sat in the new scion XB(that's the only one I remem er lol). I really like those and it was fun actually sittin in the car. Chris said I looked good in it lol. I really enjoyed walking around and checking out all the cars with everyone. I loved watching Chris's face light up when he saw a car he really liked, he's so cute. He was like a little kid in a candy shop lol, except he couldn't afford any candy... yet. But that little fact didn't bother him any he still enjoyed himself. After we left the show we stopped by Handel's Ice Cream and got ourselves a little treat. It was a fun night!

Blue??

Well my sister-in-law Tam-e, asked me what color my bridesmaid dresses were. She knew that they were blue but she said she couldn't remember what color of blue. She was wondering in case I wanted the guests to dress color coodinated for pictures. So I'm here to assure everyone that you do not have to dress coordinated to my wedding colors lol. But if you would like to, I think that would be really nice. The color blue of my bridesmaides dresses are kinda hard to explain exactly, so I took a picture of one of them in case anyone would like to coordinate their attire for the wedding. The color is like a dark blue, the tag actually says it's a cobalt blu. But when Chris and I went to look for shirts for the guys we found shirts the same color that said they were royal blue, navy blue and even marine blue lol. So I figured this would be the easiest way just in case. Only two more months left!!

Dress Drama
I found and ordered my wedding dress in the end of November from a little boutique in Lancaster called Perfect Weddings. I fell in love with this dress and was measured and ordered it that day. I was so happy I had finally found my dress because I had been looking everywhere and never had any luck. The lady at the counter told me the longest the dress would take to be made was 3 months. So she wrote my number down and said that they would call me when the dress was in. March rolled around and no call about my dress. I wanted to be able to try on my dress and have plenty of time to get the alterations done before the wedding so I wouldn't have to rush around. So I called the store last week and asked them if they could tell me when my dress would be in. She said yes and the lady on the other end of the phone told me that my dress had been in since January. I said "JANUARY!!" I calmly but quite sternly asked the woman why I never had received a phone call informing me that my wedding dress that was fully paid for was done. She sarcastically replied that there had been a postcard mailed out to me in January. (I obviously didn't reveive this "postcard") A POSTCARD! Hello! Why wouldn't someone had called me like they said? I guess I will never know. But I do know that I was pretty upset. I had to then rush around and find my undergarments(which is not an easy task with my size) in one week since I had to schedule my alteration fitting that next week in case the alterations would take longer than expected. And if you know me I am a planner and I don't like to be rushed to do important things. So I was not a happy camper. But the dress did turn out beautiful and now I just have to wait for the alterations to be done, then I will have to try it on again and hopefully that wiil be the last fitting.

Snow, Snow, Go Away!
Well it is my second day snowed in at Chris' house. And considering that we are all on our computers(especially Chris with all his counter strike), watching tv eating or maybe reading a book, I think we were getting a little bit antsi from being cooped up inside the house for so long. So Chris, Bobby and I went outside to check out the snow. Of course Bobby worked and got the snow all off of the vehicles and shoveled the walkways and such. Chris helped shovel too until I came out and then he built a snow tunnel lol ( it was cute). I wanted to take some pics of how deep the snow was to show my dad out in California. Chris took a few pics of his car covered in snow to show my dad. I would like to see the look on his face when he sees these lol. I hope everyone has a some fun in the snow this weekend!

Snowed In
I woke up around 9:00am this morning but I still felt kinda tired, so I layed down for another half hour. When I finally did get up to use the restroom I looked out the window and the ground was lightly salted with white snow flakes. About an hour later everything was covered! It was like a blizzard! The night before I stayed at Chris' house and I was planning on going home today but the roads just got so bad so fast. So I stayed at the house and Chris got called off work, Ashlyn got off early from school and her 4H auction was cancelled. So we all were snowed in for the rest of the day. Chris whipped us up a DELICIOUS homemade breakfast(my mom says that at least she knows we will never go hungry lol) we watched some episodes of "House" that we got from blockbuster, munched on some snacks and just hung out together. It was nice to relax but I hope it's not bad tom, one day of absolute lazyness is good for me lol.

A Sneaky Surprise
So even though Chris and I had already had rings for two years, he insisted that he wanted to get me a true engagement ring. So Chris took me to look at engagement rings when we first decided to get married and move to California. We found a ring that we both loved and wasn't too big for my TINY fingers lol. But we had to wait since Chris didn't have the money right then. So he told me that he wanted to put it on layaway and get it later when he saved up the money. So months went by and he started saying that he wasn't sure if he was going to be able to get the ring. I told him that I didn't want him to be worrying about something like that, and that there was more important things to concentrate on. We had a wedding to plan, school to figure out, and a move to organize lol. So we had plenty of other things to think about. A couple more months past and he finally told me(very reluctantley) that he was sorry and he was not going to have the money to get the engagement ring. So once again I explained to him that I wasn't mad or upset and that I didn't need an official engagement ring to marry him. Duh... marriage isn't about any rock on my finger lol. Anyways, so yesterday morning we were just hanging out like normal and Chris picked up my hand to hold it. Then he complained that my ring was jabbing him, so he took it off and set it down, (which was pretty normal cuz that really bothered him when he held my hand). So we continued to talk for a bit like normal untill he had to go outside to wait for a guy interested in buying my car. When he was about to leave he said he had to put my ring back on(like he always did) and I didn't notice until he let go of my hand that on my little ring figure was the beautiful engagement ring that we had picked out together many months before. He then asked me to marry him and of course I let out a yes through my big smile and with a very surprised face. He got me...again. I was so surprised and I know that it must have been hard to make it a surprise since we had already planned everything and are always talking about the wedding. I loved the moment and I love my fiance!

Happy Birthday Mom!

My sister is gettin the candles ready, she wanted to make a 41 on the cake but it didn't quite work out lol But at least she was bein creative!
My versatile man!!

It was my mom's birthday last monday and she wanted to have some time with the family all together. She wanted to get together on her actual birthday on Monday, but Chirs had to work so we did it on Sunday since he had the day off. Now my mom looks white but I know she has some Mexican in her cuz she can eat Mexican food like its her job lol. So she made tacos and borritos with taco rice... mmm..mm..good lol. My mom is also a chocoholic so we went to the store and got dark chocolate fudge cake mix with dark chocolate fudge icing... I know that's a lot of chocolate lol. But that's what she wanted and I told her that I would make her any kind of cake she wanted. I even got some green icing( green is her fav color) to write happy birthday on it. Well I ended up makin Chris do it cuz I figured he would do a little better job since he has decorated cakes at work before. Of course it turned out great even though he complained and said he wouldn't do a good job. So after Mexican and cake my mom opened her gifts adn got some really cute stuff. It was a really good dinner and dessert and I'm glad my mom liked her gifts.
