It's Like Magic!

One thing I really don't like to clean is a greasy stovetop...yuck. You know it's really hard to get clean since the spill-overs have been all cooked onto the stove and stuff. Even if you try to catch it before it gets too hot, it seems like I'm never fast enough. I have tried other products before but none of them have really done the job as good as I would have liked. So I went to the store and decided I would try to find something. I grabbed those "magic erasers" from Mr. Clean (they were like 2 bucks and I figured I could at least try them out. Plus they had a fabreze scent! I don't like when I clean the kitchen and then it smells like strong cleaning products. I dunno I guess I'm weird I just don't like to smell that when I'm cooking or eating. I really like the way fabreze smells since it smells more like an air freshioner rather than a toilet cleaner(if you know what I mean.) Anyways, I cleaned the stove with one of the erasers and it was like MAGIC! I'm tellin you, when I was done I was so excited to see such a clean stovetop lol. And the kitchen smelled like fresh meadows and rain lol. It says it'ssafe to use on furniture tops, so I think I'm going to try it out on the girls desks... they get a little marker happy sometimes. I will let you know how that turns out! Sorry I don't have before and after pictures, I ddin't think about posting about it until I was done. I can try and remember for next time lol.

That's so funny that you post about these...Alana came in on Monday saying how great these things are! You know how I hate my stainless steel sinks because they always seem so dull...well she had the same issue. We both use Bartenders Friend to clean the sinks but they still seemed dull. She was saying how great they worked on the sinks...so when I did my shopping tomorrow I was going to get some to try. I can't wait to see how they work on the stove!

Be careful about the girls' desks. I used the magic eraser on my counter top in two spots that one of the kids slipped with a black marker and it left a very noticeable light spot. I also used it for the same reason on my kitchen table and it did the same thing. The magic eraser is a great product, I use it all the time, but test an inconspicuous spot before you use it. It's great for walls, stoves, refrigerators, and it's wonderful for cleaning the white shoes, but be careful.

Thanks Vicki, I will def try it out before I do the marker spots on the the desks. And I never thought of using it on the white shoes...that could be very useful.

I tried the magic eraser on the sink after reading your mom's comment. I didn't see any great result. Yes, it got it to sparkle but I still had the scratches. I use comet in my sink! I will use the M.E. again cuz it did make it sparkle! I even went and cleaned a couple spots on my walls! You know my art work that just appears sometimes! Got to love Taylor's creativity! :)
